Your Library Card

Getting a card, renewing materials, placing reserves, etc.

Who can get a card
Any adult eighteen or over may apply for a free library card. Teens and children under eighteen may apply with the signature of a parent or guardian card holder.

How to Get Your Card
Bring photo identification then read and sign the check out and/or computer use forms.

Borrowing Limits
New patrons may check out three or fewer items at one time. After a three month period of responsible library use, new patrons may reapply for an unrestricted card.

Established patrons have a limit of twenty or fewer items that can be checked out at one time.

Placing Reserves
If an item you would like to borrow is checked out, you may reserve the item online by clicking on the item in the catalog and adding your account information. Or you can call the library to place the reserve for you:)

Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Go to our library catalog online, log in to your library account and click renew for the desired item. Or you can call the library to renew the item for you:) Each item may be renewed twice unless a reserve has been placed on it by another patron or the item is still on the "NEW" shelf.

Library Fines
Ten cents per item per day late is charged on all materials except DVDs and video games.

$1.00 per item per day late is charged for DVDs and video games.

Items returned without a bar code or spine label are charged $1.00 for each.
