FAQs:

How does curbside ordering and pickup work?

Please see our complete guide to this service here

What if I don't know what book I want?

You have options.  Give us a call at 989-674-2651 and tell us what sort of things you like - we might be able to give you some suggestions.

We are offering themed bags for kids and adults - check out your choices here (link coming soon)

Also, there is a list of new materials on our catalog at https://columbia.biblionix.com/catalog - look for the green heading that says "What's Hot".  Click on the "What's New" link underneath for search options.

How do I access the internet?

The library loans FREE mobile internet hotspots and laptops for a week.  Call us at 989-674-2651 for availability and more information.

You can also park outside the building and access our WIFI.  Look for "Columbia Township Library" in your internet connections - the password is "columbia6456"

How do I return books and other materials?

During Phase 1, all returns must be made to the outdoor drop box (with the exception of laptops - please knock on the door to return a laptop)

Can I print, copy, or fax documents?

Yes!  Please see instructions for No-Contact print/copy/fax services here

What is being done to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 at the Library?

We are quarantining all materials for 72 hours after they are returned, and then wiping all the plastic covers with bleach wipes.  Staff wear masks and are frequently washing/sanitizing their hands.  We are cleaning frequent touch points and surfaces (including the curbside pickup totes and drop box surfaces) frequently.

While we can't guarantee materials are 100% germ-free, we are following all state and local recommendations for libraries at this time to the very best of our knowledge and ability.
